Whole chromosome paints have become a valuable and widely used tool for identifying structural and numerical abnormalities, as well as cryptic abnormalities beyond the resolution of G-banding. XMP XCyting mouse chromosome painting probes are chromosome-specific and comprise whole chromosome painting probes, which are directly labeled with green and red fluorochromes, respectively. XMPs are available for all mouse chromosome classes.
