MetaServer/ MetaClient
Convenient Data Organization
MetaServer and MetaClient add sophisticated data management functionality to any Ikaros and Isis installation. MetaServer automatically collects, indexes, and sorts any image and patient data that has been generated on an Ikaros or Isis system. Indices are generated in real time, based on user preferences, and can be accessed from any other location in the network with the convenient MetaClient administration tool. MetaClient reads the data generated by MetaServer and summarizes them for easy overview. This may happen either on one of the connected Ikaros and/or Isis stations, or on any other connected workstation running Ikaros/Isis review software.
- Intuitive user interface
The main window of MetaClient conveniently lists all cases of the current root directory and offers several filtering options. Multiple display options provide more or less detailed survey of all existing cases in the active root path. For instance, in addition to case related data, images, and karyograms, other details can be displayed. These can be culture and slide information, number of captured, analyzed and karyotyped metaphases, and many more.
- Convenient filtering options
The major strength of MetaClient lies in the convenient filtering options, which are performed with few mouse clicks. The search query can retreive cases which match several definable criteria. Due to the special indexing algorithms from MetaServer all queries are processed extremely fast. Even tasks like sorting and filtering large databases are performed rapidly, and the results are displayed without delay. All filtered cases and images can be loaded directly into Ikaros or Isis. All lists and views of the main window can be either exported or printed. - Paper-free laboratory
The data collected by MetaServer can be accessed from any Ikaros and/or Isis workstation within the network for reviewing, comparing cases, summarizing results and statistical evaluations.
