AutoCapt
Automated Image Acquisition
AutoCapt is a perfect addition to all Metafer scanning applications. It efficiently increases the automation degree of your Metafer system, allowing for automatic acquisition of images at high resolution. All Metafer scanning applications are generating position lists, representing the positions of detected objects. Based on these position lists, AutoCapt relocates selected objects and automatically captures images with predefined parameters. Images are captured in transmitted light or in up to 12 color channels. All images can be exported to standard graphic file formats, or transferred to the Ikaros karyotyping or Isis FISH imaging software. In combination with the metaphase finder MSearch, AutoCapt fully automatically scans and captures metaphases from up to 880 slides if combined with the SlideFeeder. After metaphase finding, detected metaphases are automatically sorted by quality. Subsequently, without any manual interaction, AutoCapt applies immersion oil to all slides, and proceeds with capturing of a predefined number of metaphases in a quality ranked order.
- User adaptable Classifier provides flexibility
MetaSystems provides a set of predefined AutoCapt classifiers for different kind of applications. These classifiers cover most of the standard applications like capturing metaphases hybridized with MetaSystems mFISH probes, G-, C-, Q-, R-, FR-banded metaphases and others. The classifiers are adaptable, and new classifiers can be easily established. To cover wide spread metaphases, several image fields with a predefined overlap can be acquired per position. Parameters as the number of acquired focus planes per image, automatic centering of the metaphase, image processing steps and others are accessible through the user interface.
- Comprehensive evaluation and reporting tools
The scoring sheet is designed for counting any kind of chromosomal aberration. It is user definable and directly linked to the AutoCapt metaphase gallery. Only selected metaphases enable the scoring sheet for analysis allowing an efficient and fast way of working. It comprises independent fields for interactive counting and dependent fields automatically updated if aberration counts changes. Detailed results can be printed or exported in a comprehensive evaluation report.
