The datasheet integrated in Ikaros and Isis can be used to generate customized print forms and reports.

mFISH: The single color gallery in Isis displays each single color channel, the fluorochrome profiles, and the DAPI image side by side.

With the relocation system ReloSys metaphases and other objects detected by a Metafer system can be analyzed remotely.

Metaphases on clonal slides are automatically assigned to the respective clones. The clone identifier is transferred to Ikaros after AutoCapt image acquisition.

With the extraordinary LED microscope illumination device high-quality color images in Brightfield are generated.

With the tissue FISH module analysis of cell signals in tissues is very easy. Results are available immediately and can be easily validated.

Patient and image data can be conveniently displayed, filtered, and summarized.

Metafer: Versatile
Imaging Automation Platform

Automation of image analysis is the core skill of MetaSystems. Based on the versatile high-throughput slide scanning platform Metafer a wide range of applications can be fully or partly automated. Metafer is used in cytogenetics, hematology, pathology, toxicology, mutation research, radiation biology, forensic sciences, and many other fields.

24/7 Image Server

Its robust architecture allows for using Metafer as a fully independent image server, which runs 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. Images of reproducibly high quality are thus produced and shared within the workstation network, ready for analysis even while the next slides are still scanned.

Many Options and Upgrades

Like any MetaSystems product Metafer is an open system, offering many software packages and hardware options to cover a wide range of applications. Metafer is ready for use in GLP labs, and has an option for high security user administration. It can be extended with the 880-slides SlideFeeder*, a robotic exchanger of slide trays, holding 5 slides each. Of course there are also a barcode option and an automated immersion oil dispenser available.
